Important limitations

To load a diffraction pattern it must be an 8-bit or 24-bit gray-scale bitmap file with dimensions of 512 by 512 pixels. The lines to be detected are assumed to be darker than pattern background. At most, ten diffraction pattern can be loaded and analyzed at a time.

The unit cell may contain no more than 16 different atom types (elements), and each of them may be represented by no more than 128 atoms.

The number of detected lines cannot be larger than 100.

The number of beams (reflections) in dynamic (kinematic) simulation must not be larger than 256.
