Marking Kossel lines

Lines in a given an experimental Kossel pattern can be marked manually (using a mouse in picture box with the pattern) . Left-click the mouse in order to mark a point on a Kossel line. The number of points marking the Kossel line should be reasonably large (say, 15) but not larger than 64. The last point marking the given line is put by the clicking the right button of the mouse.

Moreover, middle click on a disk removes the disk. To remove all points marking the line, press Ctrl and middle click on one of its disks.

Location of the lines can be verified and corrected by a click on the right button of the mouse in the vicinity of the line (but  at the line ending disk). The curves show the profile averaged over the areas marked on the pattern. By dragging the mouse or turining the mouse scroll wheel, the line is moved in the indicated direction. The magnitude of the drag depends on the distance of the marker from line ends: the closer end is moved more than the distant one. The distance between neighboring ticks at the top of the profile box corresponds to one pixel on the pattern.

The marking points and lines can be displayed or hidden using the 'Show/Hide' button at the bottom  of the main window. Right click on 'Show' button gives the marking points  together with their 'distances' to the conic lines. More precisely, for a given marking point the number represents its 'distance' to the conic line determined by this and all other marking points of this line, and by the current values of the specimen-to-detector distance, pattern center and camera length. If Ctrl key is pressed, the 'distance' for a given disk is calculated based on all other disk of the conic, i.e., the investigated disk is excluded from the calculation of the position of the conic. Roughly, the 'distance' is given in the units  of 1/10 of a pixel. The largest distance is displayed at the lower right corner of the main window.
