Pattern center

Position of the pattern center must  be specified for each pattern by clicking on “Settings” command button and by selecting “Microscope settings” tab. The units  are assumed to be the same as the units of pixel size and camera length.  It is recommended to use [mm]. The positions of pattern centers corresponding to different patterns of the same set may be different.

The positions of the pattern centers can be subject to fitting together with strain components and sample-to-detector distances (camera lengths).

The positions of the pattern centers can be fitted separately (by clicking on th 'PC' button in the main window; in this case, camera length and orientation are fixed) or together with camera length and orientation (by clicking on th 'PCL' button in the main window).
