Domain (of intersections)

The "domain" is applicable to strategies based on the HOLZ line  intersection points. It can be modified using the "Domain" command button of  "Strain determination CCS", "Plane stress case" and “Strain determination MCS” dialog boxes. It is the area from which intersection points are taken into account and the limiting intersection angles. The area has the shape of a disc and may contain points beyond the boundaries of the pattern. The default is: diameter of the disk = dimension of the pattern = 512. As for the limiting angles, only the intersections with angles in the "green" region are used in the calculation; the default minimum (maximum) angle is 5deg (70deg). The 'size' of the domain influences the execution time.
