Indexing of the detected lines is performed by a search through the
reflections in kinematically simulated
diagram. For a given line marked
in the
pattern, if there is an (hkl) reflection with line in the
diagram
closer than a certain limit then the indices (hkl) are ascribed to the
marking
line in the pattern. The limit can be changed in
“Settings/Miscellany/Indexing”. The angle and distance have
the same meaning as Duda-Hart radius-angle or {rho, theta} line
parameters typically used for
calculating the Hough transform. Right click on the "Indexing"
button gives distances between the (kinematically) simulated lines and
marking lines given as deviations of the Duda-Hart parameters;
the units are {pixel/10, deg/100}.
